More fallout from Kento Momota's gambling scandal

Tokyo: After the World No. 2 Japanese Olympic medal hopeful Kento Momota was kicked off from Japan’s badminton team and has been suspended from competition indefinitely, which ended his dream of playing at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, it didn't take long for the scandal to burst to a new height after photo of him leaning in for a kiss with a sexy woman leaked to the public few days ago.
More intimate photos of Momota with that unidentified woman have surfaced online on Thursday showing the World No. 2 shuttler wrapping his arms around the woman in a tight embrace.
It recently came to light that before leaving for the Malaysia Open last week, the top Japanese badminton player went to a Karaoke entertainment center in Tokyo's Sumida district after receiving a phone call from an "unknown" friend.
The Kento Momota scandal is getting "bigger and broader" as more information emerged. If the Nippon Badminton Association or Badminton World Federation let the scandal spiral out of control, this could have a much bigger impact than match-fixing.
